Special characters are things like "trademark",
"copyright" and "register" symbols.
There is at least one method and sometimes two methods
to write the HTML code for special characters. The most
universal method is numerical. In the numerical
method, type &#number; (replace number
with the numerical value displayed below) to produce
the character you want. As an example, to use the
"copyright" symbol, you would type either
&169; or ©.
